I'm looking at getting a gun safe. I only own two rifles and a hand gun. I was thinking of getting one that would hold about 10. I would expect to pay 1500. What safe do you recommend? Where would you put it. My house is a ranch style. I dont have room in my closet. My only option is the garage.

Check out tracker safes. You can save a lot of money about 66 percent of what you want to spend. Lol then you can buy me lunch

I am in the market for one also. Really want to put it upstairs but not sure how getting a 400 pound box of steel is going to make it up there.

Like the others that have posted above, I bought my Browning safe at NW Safe. Just go there, tell them what your needs are. You won't regret it.

There is a liberty for sale in the classifieds

Liberty they have a great warranty also

Liberty.....they are great, is this Tyson or Seth?

Liberty for me, too. Remember: when it comes to room in a safe, a scoped rifle counts as 2 guns, for the room in the safe it needs. :twocents:

I have a stack on elite 24 gun safe, 30 min fire rate at 1400 deg, bought it from my buddy who upgraded his to a 54 gun stack on elite. Both were originally purchased at sports authority. My 24 gun weighs just under 500lbs and his 54 weighs just under 900..the 24 gun usually goes for $600-700 give or take and he got his for under $1k. If you look out for their sales its not bad. I had one of those stack on cabinets prior and ran outta space quickly between 6 long guns 4 handguns and more than enough ammo for all. Good luck with your search!!
