Title: savage 12fv
Post by: coyoteshooter on March 12, 2013, 12:46:55 AM: Any one shoot a savage 12fv in 22-250 rem. How do you like them ?

Only thing I hate is the triger it only likes the heavy setting. If I lighten it the releases the hammer as I shut the bolt. So I just keep it at 4 to 6 pound range. So I was thinking of buying the tinny triger. I thinks thats the name.

Post by: halfpipe88 on March 13, 2013, 02:40:26 PM: My brother has one. After shooting it I was decided on what my next rifle was going to be. Very accurate, and heavy enough with a .223 bullet it feels like you're shooting a .22 LR. Great trigger.

I would see what Savage will do for you about the trigger.

There's something wrong there. I run all of my Accu-Triggers at minimum pull weight (including 2 target triggers set at about 6oz) and I've never had an issue that wasn't entirely my fault.
