Hey gang,
Looking for a new printer. Some documents, some photographs. Can anyone who has recently shopped share some insights? I'm willing to spend a little more upfront to buy a brand that doesn't stick it to you when it comes to the cost of ink cartridges.
Thanks.

Thanks. Yep it appears to be the "Costcoized" version of a similar model that was #1 in Consumer Reports.
Can you get the ink cartridges refilled there?

Canon Pixma 5320 with airplay, lol
I will never buy another HP again. We had two different HP all-in-ones, neither did anything well. They could print, the quality was horrible even with photo paper. They could fax and copy, the underside of the scanner glass got dirt streaks on it :dunno: I don't know, there are not moving parts touching it. The first one this happened too, I was out of town. My wife took it in the charged almost as much to clean it as the printer cost :bash:
When it happened to the second one, I Googled around and found I could take the thing apart and clean it myself in a couple hours.
Those things ate cartridges, especially if your family can't seem to understand "If there is no color on what you are printing, use grey scale" to save the color cartridges.
So far the Canon PIXMA 5320 has been great, and if you have any iProducts ie... iPad, iPhone, printing from them is a button away.
I have read good things about the HP Photosmart, I just can't bring myself to trust HP any more.
