Just ordered some and thought I'd give em a whirl. Anyone got an opinion on them or ever used them?

Powerbelts have always shot well for me (at paper), and are very easy to load.  I just really wonder if they expand well.  I saw my buddy kill a bull with one a few years ago with a double lung shot.  It was a pass through, and some nice clean holes all the way through. Not sure if it expanded at all.  But the bull died just the same.

I used them for a while. Still do ( i have them for back up). I switched to Barnes becaus I shot a couple elk and hit them in the kill zone and it took me all day to track them down! i just dont trust the bullet performance. I switched to Barnes MZ 300gr (i think), and holy cow..... Shot a 6x6 this last year and put him down in his tracks.
he only thing i dont like about them is that i have to also sitch to there lower pressure sabet so i can load them easier. My Knight does not like them tight. Oh ya just as a little note, I have tried every Powerbelt bullet on the market (except there Dangerous game series) and I like the Platnum  the best.

Anyway thats my  :twocents: :twocents:
