I need to find a glass or replacement mirror for driver side on my 2003 F-350. It's dark now, I will try to remember to get a photo of the mirror tomorrow. It's black plastic and extends. Hoping someone has a dead truck with a good mirror. :chuckle:

Check out kool vue. I had to replace my passenger side mirror and I dont trust ebay for electronics. This was the best price I could find, and was a great site to do business with.

The dealer wants gold for these! One of mine has cracked plastic and I cannot replace any parts but have to replace whole mirror according to Ford. :bash:

Thanks for trying to help guys.
My mirrors are the telscoping power without turn signals. Looks like all I can find is aftermarket, but there are two types, square plug or round. I took the mirror off but the wires wouldn't pull out, took the switch paned loose but didn't help. Could figure out how to get the door panel loose.
Does anyone know the trick how to get the inside door panel off?

It should have little plastic push pin retainers all around the trim panel holding it to the door itself. The top of the trim panel may have a lip along it that drops down into the door itself.

No, if you do that you will ruin the door panel.
First pull off the top corner piece, pry from the top with your fingers and release the top corner, then pop it the rest of the way off. (pic1)
Then use a flat head screw driver and pop off the light cover found at the bottom of the door. (pic2)
Remove the 7mm screw behind the light cover. (pic3)
Next gently pull up on the front corner of the window switch/mirror switch panel, once the corner is up slide the panel forward. (pic4)
Unplug the window/mirror switch panel and remove the 7mm screw in (pic5)
Now grab the entire door panel and slide the entire thing strait up, the panel will then come right off.

Way too complicated. .

This is gonna sound stupid, but...I bought my mirror from kool vue, when it arrived it had no directions to speak of, so I googled it, and watched a video of it on you tube. I have found you tube has a video for pretty much everything! Once I saw the video, it took me less than a 1/2 hour to change my mirror, and a lot of that time was getting tools out of the garage!

Thanks for the photos/advice phool and thanks for the idea to look for a video weazle.
I found this video, really pretty simple job if you know what to do.
