Hope I wasnt bidding against any fellow Hnting buddies. It will be my one gun coyote gun. There are a couple new ones for almost $900. There is also a nice .222 Rem/20 ga I would go after if I hadnt got this one.
I will replace the scope and have it hydro dripped with a camo pattern.

excellent gun, I want one bad but can't choke down that kinda price. I have one in 22lr 20 ga. I hope they offer that combo in thier new modle 42 if so i will purchasing one.
-
They're great combo guns, but that's a lot of money for sure. I looked around for quite a while and found my Savage 24C takedown 20ga/22lr for $300 just a couple months ago.
-
I got one of these and it is a great coyote gun for calling.
-
Wow, you must have really wanted that gun. A spendy new little toy.
-
Wow. I guess $35 wasn't a bad price to pay for my 24. (22Magnum over .410, in 1967!) :chuckle:
-
that price is pretty good for that gun. I have seen them go for a lot more.
-
cool gun, curious what your plan is for sights for the shotgun as far as close range?

I found out long ago that with my old gun, if I used the rifle sights for the shotgun, it hit way low. Got to just point the barrel for shotgunning. Talked to people who have the newer barrel-band guns and they said that it's not a problem.
-
Place an Eotec on it and you will be in good shape.
-
I looked at the Eotec and other red dot. I decided to go with a Nikon. The scope mounts are included at opticsplanet. Soon I need to get it all over to NW Hydro Print.

I think that new scope mount with the 45 degree rail for a small, fast-acquisition red dot would be ideal for a gun like this. (can't recall who makes it) Large power scope for the rifle barrel, small red dot sight for the shotgun barrel!

Thats exactly what I was thinking as well.

Great minds think alike.
