Title: First Batch
Post by: Blacklab on March 23, 2013, 01:55:53 PM
Cash an carry had a killer deal on pork shoulder so I bought a case of 63lbs. Takeing one shoulder an cutting it in half to make bbb and the other half to make chorizo. BBB is curing now and be ready for smoking  fri or sturday. The other half I used hi mt breakfest chorizo an made up 3lbs. Have to say wasn't a big fan of the flavor. First time I haven't cared for one of their spice packets. Just wasn't what I was expecting I guess. Luckly it's only 3 lbs. Any other chorizo recipes out there that's worth a try.

dogtuk wasn't at all what I was expecting. I gave some of it away last night. Knowing it may be used for dog food. Which is fine with me as long as the dogs eat it. If they don't you know it's nasty  :chuckle:

Hawgdawg yep .99 at C&C today is the last day for the sell. Thinking of running down there and getting another box.
