President admits ‘there will still be tragedies, violence’

Flanked by gun control advocates and parents of shooting victims, President Barack Obama today admitted during remarks about his demand for new gun laws that the measures he is proposing will not prevent violent, tragic crimes.

they never talk about enhanced sentencing for firearms related crimes, they dont want to talk about stiffer sentences for crimes, they dont want to talk about truth in sentencing, in otherwords, if your sentenced to 20 years, you serve damn near that, rather than letting them out after 3-5 years instead. they mock the three strikes laws, and do everything they can to undermine them, they dont want to talk about anything that would reduce or deter crime, they only want to talk about measures that affect law abiding Citizens, and that dont impact the criminal element at all. they constantly advocate for those that commit crime, and ignore the victims, unless they are using them as a tool to get what they want.

Post by: csaaphill on March 29, 2013, 12:50:34 AM: More often is more like it. Meaning his quote in that story less parents being told they lost thier child to gun violence. Australias violent crime has risen since they've banned most guns and make it harder for regular people to defend themselves. First child or anyother dies after all this stuff is passed, but hopefully not but proll will be; I hope someone sues him or the Gov over it. Oh ya found earlier that Sarah brady is part of iansa as well so prolly pushing for the UN small arms treaty :twocents:
