Title: Elk making themselves at home
Post by: Landowner on April 01, 2013, 10:00:18 PM
The warm weather had the elk out this weekend.  Looks like they weathered the winter pretty well.  A few antlers still hanging on the smaller bulls.  Eating crops like it was the Golden Corral.  Even ran across a moose here in the Blues, a first for me.

They are pretty thick in some areas.  I never knew it when I lived in Yelm.  Certain Eastside areas have lots of moose.  I see them nearly everyday now when in the woods.
