Looking at getting a new bow, I have shot both of these, they both shot smooth and very quite but the G5 is little cheaper just wondering which one!

Havent shot the assian yet but I know the primal is nice. Ive seen the assain and know bowtech makes great bows. Id shoot them some more and see which one you like more.02

Keep shooting them both. I do like th G5's not a die hard fan but them bows can flat out shoot. Amazing valley's and a solid backwall. for the Bow techs I dont feel there backwall is as solid as the g5 and you also get cam lean which with the g5 that is taken out of the solution. So the g5 is a real forgiving bow and is gonna help you holder tighter groups. jmo

I love the g5 my only bitch is it's tough on bus cables , serving at the cam.

I just got an Assasin, I love it, really light and super fast!

If you get a chance go shoot the hoyt charger. Great shooting bow for $499.

:yeah:
Probably the most bow for the money.

i dont know what the quest primal or assasin cost but i just bought a bare hoyt rampage xt for $525 from a local shop and i love it! i have found them online for about $480. a buddy has an assasin that i have shot quite a bit and i didnt care much for it. compared to the assasin i think the hoyt rampage is a higher quality bow but i dont know what the price difference is either.

Well I just purchased a new in box G5 Quest Primal on ebay for 389 to the door, the bowtech assasin was 599, they both shot and drew back smooth but the G5 had a little better valley to it, can't waite! thanks for all info!

Had the same issues.
I noted the G5 strings and cable had very little creep or stretch, just did not hold up well.
I am trying a set of Winners Choice string and cables as soon as I get about 300 shots on my replacement G5 set. I will keep the G5 set as backups.
