Can't really go by beard length on the birds. Some birds the same ages may have different beard lengths. The spurs are the best way to tell. They can also miss lead a guy depending on how much they ware them down.

Thanks uncle Drew for gettin him out in the woods to have a great opportunity. Wish I was there when it all went down but had to work all weekend. Lookin forward to many more turkey hunts....
