Well, I took my 11 year old daughter out for the youth season in Glenwood. We camped on Pleasant Rd (I think) just south of Kelly rd. Rode our bikes about 1 1/2 miles back behind the gate and set up a blind in a spot that I have hunted for a couple of years with some success. Saturday morning we rode in about a hr before dark and sat and waited. Didnt here a thing at day light or during the day. The weather didnt help out at all. Im not looking for a place for me, Im looking for a private place for her to hunt where she will have a better chance at harvesting her first animal. If anyone is willing to help her out that would be great and I could kick down some Razor clams for letting her hunt on your land. Obviously I would be with her but wouldnt carry a shotgun. This is for her and her only. Any takers????

After you went through the gate did you go left or straight up the hill?

Left, at the fire refill pond took another left into "classic flats". Where the car is on the stump.
