Hey thanks! That link took me right to it. For some reason it kept taking me to 2012. I got Deer but no elk. Maybe next year
-
The wife and I, along with I am guessing everyone else got drawn for deer, the wife also got drawn for elk for the second time. Man is she lucky.
Good luck to all.
-
Got drawn for deer for fifth year in a row and also drawn for elk for the first time...time to get out the wallet!!

Looks like I'm in the club....

Deer selected, 2nd time.
Elk not selected, maybe next year.
Good Luck everybody.
Come on hunting season. I'm ready!

So, I'm trying to figure out how WA's regulations work. You guys say you're not getting selected- you just mean you put in for an Elk tag for a specific unit, and didn't get it. However, you still CAN get over the counter tags for elk, right? (Just for the lesser-desired units)

That is a rather simplified but mostly accurate perspective, although this thread is about multi season permits.
-
Ok. So people are putting in for multi-season tags for 2 seperate animals (deer and elk in this case) and drawing the deer tags, but no elk.
How do the multi-season tags work? Are they for archery, rifle and muzzleloader?
-
Yep 2 separate animals. You can hunt the general hunts with all 3 weapons and apply for special permits for all 3 weapons if drawn. Everyone has been getting deer because they give more permits then applicants. Not very many applicants get the elk permits.

It helps if you read this first:
