Clark Gunsmithing just off Evergreen Blvd down near the bowling alley. He's got a waiting list right now of about 6-8 weeks because of all the FFL business he's doing. He's a good gunsmith, though.

I know a guy in Olympia who might be able to do it while you wait. It's a little bit of a drive but maybe better than waiting two to three months.

If he can't do it while you wait I bet he could do it in a week or less.

It would be worth a phone call to find out anyway. Let me know if you're interested and I'll PM his name and number.

You can take it to Winlock and Gary Ryan will have it done in a day or two.  He's done 2 Savage pre-fits for me and a couple small things that I screwed up, he was able to fix.  He's a pretty nice guy.  Usually gets my stuff done before the timeline he gives me.  Just get a barrel nut wrench and an action wrench.   :chuckle: That's what I'm doing for the 2 pre-fits I have on order.  Gary charged $40 to replace and headspace the barrel, might be more now.  If you have 2 barrels changed over, you'll have paid for the action wrench and still won't have one  :chuckle:
