Looking for a new scope to put on my marlin 336. Any Suggestions?

any decent 3-9x40 should do anything you need...I have see through rings on mine so I can use iron sights if I want
-
if you use leverevolution ammo this may work well I haven't tried it though

I take that back I looked up some reviews on it and they don't seem to be very durable...but the leverevolution ammo is awesome thats all I use anymore

I'm not a big Leupold fan but they do have one scope that is my favorite for fast handling carbines and that is the VX-II 1x4x20mm. Mount it as low as you can get it and forget iron sights. If you really think you need ironsights mount with QR rings and pop it off if your out in a rain storm. I have a couple of these on coyote calling rigs and have killed coyots from 10ft to 300 yards. On lower power you have 70 to 90ft FOV
Putting high powerred scopes in tall mounts pretty much takes "quick, fast handling" out of the rig.

The two big belled scopes are a 1.5x6 and a straight 4x(was on as a back up gun)

Rifle/shotgun combo, even shoot the shootgun with the scope set on 1x
