Interesting poll. Comes from a website where members must verify they are law enforcement so its not a bunch of trolls skewing the results.

Encouraging news from the boys in blue!
-
I really want to be excited reading that, but unfortunately I don't think it matters at this point. It is nice to know those guys have some common sense about gun control!
of course the only ones you see on the news are the ones for gun control. :bash:
-
According to the news all day. The "Assault Weapons Ban" and the "Magazine Restriction" will fail. On a Federal level. They are trying to reach a "compromise" and demand all gun shows have a back ground check before the purchase of a firearm. The "Private Sale" will stay untouched. Loaning a firearm to a friend will also be untouched. Although I would never loan a firearm to anybody, well maybe my dad. It is good to know that if these over zeles politicians pass any stupid gun laws, LE is pretty much on the gun owner's side. Here in Washington, the Washington Arms Collectors have shut the so called "gun show loop hole" years ago on there own. You can not buy or sell a firearm at any WAC shows without being a member of the club. In order to be a member of the club, you must pas a back ground check or you do not join. So we have been ahead of the curve for a long time.

Now how are we going to fuel hysteria with articles like that :yike:?

Then what the heck happend during Katrina? Law abiding citizens being stripped of their protection? :dunno: It is Little conferting to see this poll but Katrina still makes me wounder that if in a real SHTF situation if the local LEOs would follow directives to disarm citizens.

Because the New Orleans area was under martial law. When martial law is declared, you as a citizen no longer have your constitutional rights as we know them. Big brother takes control of EVERYTHING and they do what there agenda tells them to do.
-
then that's what will happen i suspect but will have to be a false flag or some kind of real disaster.
If I can if martial law was to be called around me I'd bug out.
But ya thats a cool poll but wont hold my breath much until I see it come true and they stand up for us when called upon.

True :yeah: :'(
From what I hear (nationally):
Rural LEO more pro 2nd Amendment, City LEO less so.
'Beat cop' (no disrespect intended) WAY more pro 2nd, Police Administration WAY less pro 2nd.
Which of these has the political connections?
