Title: Good luck turkey hunters!
Post by: Mfowl on April 11, 2013, 08:12:03 PM: I'm geared up and ready to depart on Friday morning. Gonna hit up one of my ol'time honey holes in the SE. Been about 5 years since I've been in the Blues. Gonna try to reacquaint myself with a Rio. If things go well I'll be in the NE ASAP. Flyin solo this year for the first time since my first year of turkey hunting. Anyway, good luck to all, hope to see plenty of success stories and pics at the end of the week!

Post by: PA BEN on April 13, 2013, 08:47:43 PM: Had surgery on my finger Monday I'm off work so i came up to Chewelah to visit family. Have to head back Monday for a doctor app. Tuesday, hope to shoot one first thing out of the roost in the morning and head home. Been patterning some nice toms each morning, hope it all comes together. But if you have ever hunted turkeys things can go south quick. Good luck to you all the hens are breeding off quick in the morning and the toms are looking for more hens around 9am the last two days.
