Title: Opening Weekend Report
Post by: snagglepants on October 05, 2008, 10:58:21 PM
Hey guys,
Well, made it out today...unfortunately not much to report.  I don't have a dog, so it makes things a little tougher.  I went to one of my spots where I see birds now and again and saw one quail, but then lost him as he ran up a hill.  After a while, more and more hikers showed up and invaded my hunting space.  I tried another spot and saw a really nice rooster pheasant, but as we all know, he was safe this weekend.  Guess that hunting.  Regardless, it was great to get out.  How'd y'all do?
