They should title the show "Poach clams here". Considering the value of them overseas I could see that being very bad.

Wow, i guess if someone will watch it then they will film it. Doesn't sound like they're giong to run out of new old ideas any time soon.

What a joke. I can't believe how much they've wrung this "reality TV" sponge out.
What I want to see is a show called "You Da Bomb!", which would be a show about Al Qaeda extremists going on their last jihaad.

I think it could be a cool show if they kept the drama and acting off of it.
Just because they are digging geoduck doesn't mean they are poaching them.
I've thought it would be cool if they did a northwest series of deadliest catch, and could include long liners and trawlers along with the crabbers. That type of stuff interests me. Seems to me a geoduck show would turn into a show like bearing sea gold, where the visiblity is so low you really can't film the diver, so they have to film the crew fighting and bickering at eachother in order to make a show out of it.

It's this way, and will continue to be this way because of money. Why make a TV show where you have to pay actors $50,000-$200,000/episode AND have to pay writers, when you can pay average joe talent $700/week for a few months and not have to pay writers?
