That was 2011, didn't hear of him showing in 2012. I have heard of them in Bellingham area from time to time.

 pretty awesome boss, I think someone caught some up on rainy pass last year so I am not suprised they drop over there
-
I've seen them out in the middle of the Swanson Lakes Wildlife Area which is all wheat and sagebrush country, driving around late in August looking for coyotes and a cow was standing in a stubble field. Very, very far from "moose country"
About ten years ago, we saw a large bull just outside of Goldendale.
-
Seen a calf with no mom in sight in Cowichie @ 8 years ago.... In open sage... Nobody believed me with my disposable camera shots from 300 yards... I'm sure they will spread more with wolves in their home range and thin out the population from breeding as well...

I putting in for the Connell tag :chuckle:
Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife chased a moose in Connell out of town. They guided it over Hwy 260 into the Esquatzel Coulee. They say the area is safe now and they don't think the moose will come back.

wdfw should transplant a bunch of moose to the westside i am sure they would do well over here, or do they prefer a little more open country, it would be sweet to have some of those ov er here for sure though
-
If we had moose over here they'd probably be mostly on private property and only those with lots of money would get to hunt them. So I would vote no on the idea of the state spending a lot of money to move moose to this part of the state.
-
Across the road from my house in Walla Walla. There are more of them in the Blues than most people think.

-
They do well in Alaska, so I think they could handle the 10 months of rain on the wet side pretty well.

Looks like something clipped it! If you look at the full size pic, you can see there's quite a bit gone. Wonder how she lost it.
