Title: BUG hatch on the Deschutes

Post by: Annette on May 04, 2013, 12:59:25 PM: Thanks everyone! So we did take off and caught a couple fish. didn't get there till 230 but enjoyed the rest the day on the river. Smokey caught a redside about 17 inched just at dusk.
We decided there"s great fishing closer to home too and will wait till the 10th or so to go back. That's when the fly shop said the salmon hatch will start. Hate those big ugly bugs crawling all over me...what I won't do for good fishing! LOL
