Just wondering if fishing has been open on the Columbia and if so what they were catching em on. I'm gnna be on the clearwater tomorrow for the opening day.

The Columbia has been open above Bonneville. Drano lake and Wind river are the main spots. They are fished with prawn spinners, wiggle warts, bait wrapped kwiks and cut plug herring. Haven't paid much attention to the reports lately but this is the time. Never fished the Clearwater but i think its either a sidedrifting eggs/shrimp or anchor fishing bait wrapped kwiks fishery. I thought I heard the quota was very low this year. Good luck! Post some pics when your done.

I thought it was open Sundays and Mondays until they reached the quota of however many fish that was.
