Title: Tikka .270 WSM Seating Depth?
Post by: MuleDeerCrazy on May 03, 2013, 08:06:14 PM
Any of you reloading buffs out there have a good recipe for a Tikka T3 .270 WSM?  And what kind of seating depth are you running (I'm trying to work up a load with 140 gr. Accubonds).

I think this thing is gonna be a tack driver, but just can't quite get various combinations to dial in.  I've tried IMR 7828, IMR 4350, RL19, RL22 and Mag Pro.  So far, the RL19 and Mag Pro have been the most promising, but not quite getting there?

Any ideas and/or suggestions...

Thanks!

I use 140 gr accubonds not sure about the proper depth but made it so mine just fit into the clip. They shoot good and I'm using accurate 3100 for powder problem is the don't make that powder any more. Will be looking for a new load myself in a year or two got enough powder to last a little while longer. Good luck.

I am running 140 accubonds on top of r/l 17 at about 3150 fps. Very accurate in my browning Mt Ti  :twocents:

I second the RL17 w/ 140 accubonds. RL 22 was good but the 17 is crazy good. Lapua, CCI 250,2.265ogive-2.825coal
