Title: Scouting Help Wanted/Needed
Post by: iRem on May 06, 2013, 10:06:52 AM
I am planning on putting in for the Archery Colockum Cow Tag and the Archery Peaches Quality Tag!  No need for the scouting tips for the Peaches Ridge Tag, but I do need little help for the Colockum area in case I draw the Cow tag. I have Never been in the unit, but I have been very intrigued over the last couple of years, and now with Colockumelk no longer with us, I think it would be fitting to harvest a cow in his honor! My quite tribute to him and all the active military/veterans that sacrifice to keep us safe!
Any ways, I am looking to go over in the next month or so, maybe after the draw to spend some time in there! Just need a little help being pointed in the right direction! Thanks!

Sleep in on accident wake up at 9:30 go to Cle Elum to get Mcdonalds.. U miss breakfast by two minutes so you get a Big Mac with mac sause. Decide to stop at owens meat to get some jerky..at 11 Head towards Blewitt Pass (970) and decide to take a right at the light before the pass (97). Drive a mile down the road and wow there is a whole bunch of elk right of the side of the road.. So you pull over walk out there drop a cow and back up the truck to load her up... Then you make the journey home done lol :IBCOOL:

I think the cow tags are good for 328 & 329 but I'm not 100% sure.
