While checking this cam this morning I had a cool vocalization encounter with a bear. I am assuming it is the same bear in the video. At 16 seconds the bear lunges at a frog. The rest of the time it is eating grass.

This bear only came by the one time, presumably checking the skunk cabbage. The deer came by a couple times.

Thanks for sharing
Lots of grass for them to eat there. I'm surprised that they still aren't eating much protein. They've been up for a month and still nothing but grass.
Those dark black bears are sure cool looking, all I see are dingy brown ones this year.

They hit this spot until late May or early June then I find them up the draw on Skunk Cabbage and Salmon Berry.
I wish I had dingy brown ones to look at. All I see are black.
