Title: Handheld GPS Question
Post by: Transka on May 13, 2013, 09:39:55 AM
I have been looking to get a Handheld GPS unit but with all the different kinds not sure which one
I am not much into taking pics with it I have a camera for that what I am interested in is being able to take home and transfer a route that I completed and put it into my home computer on google maps or google earth to view my routes not sure if a program comes with the gps unit or if you have to buy it separate. I like the birds eye view as well as topo
really not worried about money just want a great reliable unit I do some canyon hike so a good antenna would also work too
any help or suggestion's would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Transka

I have the RHino 650, and LOVE it (i.e., its the one without the camera).

Not sure why this is in photo and video, but the Rino 655T is incredible. And because it has a camera with plotting and 8 MP, you can take some good pics and they'll be on your map when you synch at home on your computer.
