The info in the DVD can definitely be applied to Roosevelt elk. The focus is on the comprehensive elk hunting approach, not just calling. There is a lot of info on scouting, conditioning, using Google Earth, how to properly use an elk call (not calling specific), gear, proper set ups, tracking, quartering, packing, and of course, calling techniques.

I have not seen the gutless method yet so I really enjoyed that. I would advise picking this DVD set up know matter how seasoned of a hunter you are, there's a lot of little tricks to improve your elk hunting abilities. Thanks Corey!

I'd definitely be interested in an encore with more focus on tactics for more varying situations (what works good in heavily hunted areas - and not just find areas that aren't).
