Go to a recent fire burned area...We found them by the thousands ;)Are those elevation specific? Ive never seen one while I was out hiking or anything. They look delicious.

Smossy, Any of the areas around Wenatchee that had fires last summer/fall should have good numbers of them. They grow at most elevations, Blewitt Pass, Table Mtn. fire areas should have some. 3000-5000ft elev. They are hard to spot at first, but once you see a few you'll get the hang it pickin them out.Go to a recent fire burned area...We found them by the thousands ;)Are those elevation specific? Morels are toxic unless you cook/purge them right?You have to cook them for sure. They have a gas that they use to spread there spores. You need to cook that out. But there is nothing to worry about.
