Title: Roosters
Post by: hunting4sanity on May 27, 2013, 02:11:56 PM: The other day my son saw a pretty good fight between two roosters in the edge of one of our pea fields. Today I had my camera with me and thought I was going to get the chance to get some fighting pics, but after dancing around each other a little and one half-hearted jump, they just went back to eating. Nothing too exciting, but they are gorgeous birds.

I had a couple run out in the middle of the road right in front of my truck once. They didn't seem to care about me sitting there, they just duked it out right in front of me.

Of course, can't do anything about clean farming, insecticides, etc.
