Were going be going around in area 13. Going to some hotspots we read I the Northwest Sportsmans. You Could say were Noobs :chuckle:

well there is only one way to get better at it, and that is to get out there and find where those fish are laying. Just remember although they are very aggressive fish the slightest weather change can throw off the bite. So dont get discouraged!

Thanks, won't be terrible even if we don't catch any. Still be nice to be on the water.

I'm thinking of putting in at Des Moines and running down to Slag Pile this weekend. Good luck as I'm in the same "boat." No clue where to go or what to do when I get there, but as was said, only one way to figure it out...

Concentrate on using live bait. Once you can dial that in you will be way more productive on catching fish.

FYI... Des Moines no longer has a boat hoist. They have a boat ramp at the yacht club but you need to be a member. Check our Redondo.

Thanks for the tip on that! I'm learning that launch fees are going to drain me faster than fuel...
