Title: Video: WA Archery Mule Deer
Post by: fly4fish on May 27, 2013, 08:02:24 PM: I've been holding on to my WA Archery Mule Deer Video for some time. Now that things are slow around here, I figured I would see what you guys think about it. Not a huge buck, but nice for where I hunt, and entertaining (imo). I would like some constructive criticism, so fire away. Also, I need "Likes" and shares on Facebook; thanks, it helps a ton.

I know it's long, but it was all I could do to make it this length. I don't understand how TV shows struggle to get enough footage that they have to show pranks around camp and cooking.

I am glad you guys like the video. This is private land. I have video of the 3 point from about 3 years ago as a big 2x3; he had to have been 4-5 years old then. Bucks around here are lucky if they live past 2 years old on public.

My brother got a decent Washington archery mule deer buck as well, but his is 100% Film It Yourself (FIY) and it turned out great with the video being only 5 minutes or so; be sure to subscribe, we will be releasing it soon.

I like how you have the vantage point video where you can see the whole stalk and how it comes together. Some shows are bad about showing the whole hunt, I really think that is exceptional videography. Thanks for sharing.

FIY: the CamHat goes over the CamStrap with the mount sticking out the side.
