Has anybody used these? Do the work with luminocks?
-
Nope, but give them a try and let us know what you think. I gotta say at first glance they look like a pain in the butt. But then again I like to stick to what's proven to work.
-
They look pretty industructable. The whole pop off aspect is cool as far as locating where an animal was hit, but sounds like a real pain for finding arrows after a pass through.

So, I'm but only one opinion in this thread. I have two full tubes of fobs and there is a reason! I didn't have one that worked like it was supposed to. However, the customer service was great! After waiting three months to respond to an email and call I finally got a call back. The owner/CEO wanted to what I was shooting and if I knew how to use them. I paused, a simply replied yes. He refunded my money and told me to keep the FOB's and not to ship them back. Good enough for me. Now I have plastic for the recycle been when I clean the hunting room out!

I had a couple of guys on here send me a few tubes. I think I ended up with 4 tubes total. Each guy said, "DO NOT send them back to me!" They now reside in my kids' toy box.

I used fobs for a few years.....Killed two deer with em
They work fine with a well tuned bow.
I always used a bright orange wrap with them so it was easy to find the arrow after shot.
Never did I have a problem with them popping off my arrow shaft crawling through brush either.
Todd_ID on here strictly used them until he switched to trad bow....Im sure he will speak up

Well if you guys are just going to toss them you think I could buy them off you? I would like to play around with them and see what they are all about.
-
These threads seem to come up several times a year and always with the same consensus.
Even if they worked right I would not hunt with them. Blazers work perfect for me.
-
i used them. i liked them. then i went back to aluminum and started using feathers. if i shot carbons out of my hunting set up, i'd shoot them again.
-
I bought a tube and they flew great. I keep a tube in my bow box for back ups so I never have to refletch in the field. They fly the exact same as my 2" blazers.
-
I had mixed reviews on my old bow with them - Field points flew perfect, but broadheads had issues. My new bow it 70fps faster and that helped dial them in better with broadheads. I am using 4 fletch blazers now but really liked the servicability of the FOBS. Difficulty in finding some one to do 4 fletch for me led me to the Fobs.
I always carried a couple extra with me in my pack just incase I lost one. Every once in a while, I popped one off, but I knew when I did it from what had just shoved the bow through.
You will get some looks at the range if you show up with them. Lots of folks have not seen them.

I know it's been years, but if anyone still has extra FOBs sitting around please PM. I've heard they work well with the Trophy Ridge Revolution rest, which is what I have on my Drive LT. Glad to send a few bucks your way for the shipping and effort.
Thanks, and
