Title: patience finally paid off for my 3 yr old in a big way!
Post by: deerhunter_98520 on June 08, 2013, 10:32:35 PM: Ill let the pic speak for itself....4lbs 20"long :IBCOOL: my 3 yr old reeled it in himself....i just held onto the butt of the pole so it wouldnt go for a swim :chuckle:

Post by: deerhunter_98520 on June 08, 2013, 10:45:10 PM: Thanks guys.....i ended up using a 1/4 oz slider sinker above a swivel with a 2ft leader with a chartruese with sparkles power egg and a piece of night crawler....it didnt even hit the bottom before the fish had it....my son fell asleep on the way to the lake and was a bit cranky untill he seen that jump clear out of the water then it was game on and it was his fish :chuckle:
