Title: Knight Little Horn
Post by: Rooster1981 on June 09, 2013, 09:56:20 AM

So I have two daughter's that are getting close to hunting age Eight and Ten Y/O. I have been holding off for my ten Y/O because she is very small for her age. I only want to only hunt muzzleloader with my kids because of the ever growing population of modern firearm hunters. So in my search there are very few options for a youth muzzleloader that is compliant with washington laws. The only one I have found is the Knight Little Horn. They come is many differant styles and are Washington compliant. I'm defiantly thinking about buying one for my oldest and seeing what they are like.

My question is has anyone ever shot one or bought one for there kids to shoot. I haven't found much feedback on the Little Horn But with it being the only option I have found I think I will pull the trigger and buy one.

They are a little pricey.  I took my nephew hunting last season with me and the knight disc extreme I have was a bit big for him.  Some one said to try the cva buckhorn mag.  I happen to have one and it fit him like a glove.  Quite a bit smaller than the disc. He was ten at the time.  You may want to look into that option.  You can find one for under 200.00.

The Knight Wolverine is shorter and lighter than the bighorn, and basically the same gun. I got my lady one and she likes it more than the bighorn.

My daughter shoots the Knight Wolverine.
She will be 13 in September and she is small for her age also.
But the Wolverine works really good for her. With a BogPod she is deadly accurate.

We found it on Gunbroker for $90.

Yes it was a very good deal. Just looked on gunbroker and there are a few of the lk-93 in the $100 - $150 range.
