What kind of stuff did you plant? I have been thinking about doing something like that on some property we have.

I'm using Frigid Forage Big and Beasty. It takes some prep and I put some lime down first, but has grown in well this spring. Still did all the prep by hand and a small drag harrow. The does and bucks kept coming in after the bear ate my deer block. A couple bears even visited and ate the clover. I just laid down some more fertilizer and hope we get a few more good rains before the dry time sets in.

I'm not a big whitetail hunter, can anyone guess the age of the buck with the good antler growth in my trail cam picture?

3 years old maybe, no more than 4.
