Title: Muley or Whitetail?
Post by: Jonathan_S on June 11, 2013, 06:06:57 PM: A few decent looking bucks out of a group of eight or so that pass through here daily. Think this WT will end pretty heavy?

example of a buck that looked heavy, but once shedded it was avg at best

Yeah I think NW is in a league above me. I'd be more than thrilled to pattern a buck like the one he's got in that picture.

I'm more interested in taking a clean kill mature buck at close range for my first bow kill.

Thanks for all the replys, sounds like the whitetail will be not as impressive as I initially thought but I think he'll still make my hit list.
