Ive killed a few dogs in the timber, but majority have been desert or farm feild areas. So my question being, how should i go about calling dogs in the thick timber lands. This is northern idaho and there are quite a few dogs up here.
Ive scouted the area well, howled at a few packs i know of and got responces. walked roads surrounding cuts and tree lines and found lots of sign. I know there are lots of dogs here, but im struggling. maybe its cause the weather? dont have much coyote knowledge in june.
Anytips are much appcriated.

I prefer to call coyotes in the forest. Its no different than anywhere else. Many times deer show up before dogs when blowing on a distress call.
