Title: 1st year Bear hunting
Post by: jeepasaurusrex on October 14, 2008, 09:50:15 AM
This year is the first year I have actually purchased a Bear tag. Any good locations that can be suggested for northern Snohomish County/ Skagit County to up the odds of me filling a tag?

My dad got a nice black bear back in 1967, had it made into a rug which I still have. I want to add my own to the "man room"  :chuckle:

This time of year I have been seeing them on a south, southwest facing slope that holds a lot of berries in the higher country ( 3000 to 5000 ft.) and usually at about an hour before dark, but I did see lots of sign down low opening deer morning, and keep them binos glued to your eyes. good luck
