I've fished for silvers as a kid with my dad from the bank, but now I've got a boat. What set up should I use, trolling speed, depth, what to rig? Any help would be great thanks!!!

green pro troll flasher, ace fly high, with a herring shoved up its rear  and troll fast, about 5 knots / 7 MPH

Really? For lake silvers? Seems a bit on the large side if you ask me, but i have never fished for them so what the heck do I know? How big do lake silvers get?

4" dodger trailed by either small/micro squid, wedding ring spinner, or a pair of red bare hooks........tip the squid and spinners with maggots or white shoepeg corn soaked in any number of different scents.....my favorite is herring anise with a little slamola powder added to the mix with my second choice being just anise oil.....
