Title: I drew a cow tag

I just checked my wife's and she has 7 points for anterless and didn't get one of the hundreds of Winston, Margret or Toutle cow tags! Maybe it is a test run because I would think that she was a shoe in for a cow tag this year. :dunno:

I myself only put in for bull an did the point option on quality.
Dad put in for bull an quality ...

Called my granddad.. For elk he just did quality an bull along with moose sheep etc. an same story .. Draw not run yet... A family friend called an reported that he as many of you have was selected for all 4 of his cow picks...

So with that I'd say I'd have a very good sneaking suspicion that this is a screw up on there part in some way or form.. I'd hope the system wasnt so screwed up that this many people would get selected for all 4 picks .. Just my .02$

I gambled with low points , I put us in separate hunts hoping on a slim chance that one of us would draw . Should have known better , just hope I get my first choice of Upper Smith , that won't interfer with hers. I'm just glad I'm sitting on 3 week vacation .

That's what it's supposed to say. Means you weren't selected for a hunt. Therefore you gain one point.

I know the area fairly well and if I drew the Jan 1-15 tag then I know exactly where I'll be on opening morning. Last year was very frustrating out there. I saw less animals and more hunters than ever before. Stay away from the clearcuts is all I can say. Get back into the timber surrounding the clear cuts and it will cut down on the pumkins by 75%. During that late hunt, then post up on the clear cuts. It worked out in the past. I'm excited, can't wait.
