I drew for an Archery cow tag in the Colockum. I have never hunted up there and this will be my first season bow hunting elk. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If you see a goat farmer out there stick to him like glue. He is 2 spikes and a cow in their the last three years.
I don't know how I can never find elk in the darn place. :chuckle:

Congrat's! Practice, Practice, Practice.
Listen for the bugling bulls at dusk/night, and then head that direction very early the next morning...The cows will be out feeding.
pm me while we get closer to the season, I might be up there.

Around here he is known as Saylean but I now know him as goat farmer... at least that's what he calls himself.
Really be patient and have a good time. Archery elk hunting is addicting whether you are hunting big bulls or not.
