After putting in for the tag the last 8 years i was finally fortunate enough to draw the tag. Its been a while since i have been in the unit, but i am looking forward to go there and learn some more of the area. For those of you that have this tag please feel free to share your experiences and pictures of some of the deer you got to harvest or take pictures of. Thanks guys!

wow huntnphool that is a pig. I am very excited for the hunt just have to line out the time for work and start dedicating my scouting to learn the area a little bit more then what i know so its really worth my whileAs suggested, be sure to purchase thick quality chains for all four tires in case of snow

Get that bow dialed into 100 yds. and you will be just fine :chuckle:. A little weather and some doe in heat and you will have them running in....some guys are just that lucky :tup:.
The luck to draw is awesome I just hope to have some luck to shoot a big mule for once then I will be satisfied. We are all due eventually so let it be a birthday present to me. You know me I won't be shooting 100 yds that just won't happen.

congrats on the tag. this hunt requires confidence at 50 yards and the ability to wait for the right deer. the last few day are always the best. i have been extremely lucky and drawn this tag a few times before always with a partner. always getting a deer. and have been there every day of the season 4 of the last 6 years, that's over forty days there during the season and like i said the last few days have been the best. good luck and we will see you there. :)
I am confident out to 50 and I would say 70 is my max. I will only miss the first two days of the season and be there the rest of it. I am patient when it comes to taking the right shot just not sure how patient I am with seeing decent sized animals and waiting for a bigger one. I have never shot a real big mule deer so it will be hard for me to pass on a good buck. My two hunting partners and I grouped it so we will all be there. I have decent knowledge of mule deer hunting for I have been huntin them since I was about ten. Thanks for the info!
