Title: Clockum Cow Tag
Post by: klickman on June 20, 2013, 03:26:03 PM: My wife drew a rifle cow tag. This will be a great opportunity to get her first elk. Cant wait.

I have hunted up there a lot and there are lots of elk...mostly cow of course so perfect for her. Have fun and post story and pic's after the hunt.

As did I and my nephew due to my 17 pts. (not first animals though)
This year another friend with 16 and one with 12 carried the rest of us

We went up days early just to have fun scouting and taking pictures of big bulls by the reserve. Take your time and enjoy the hunt because you shouldn't have any problems getting your animal. We were also limited due to the fire so half the unit was closed.
