Here is a rifle I just finished up Remmy 700 action trued up shilen barrel chambered to .280AI oversized recoil lug tuned factory trigger bell and Carlson stock, the metal was finished in black cerakote and bedded to the stock using Devcon. Shoots great this group was with factory hornady 280 rem it measures .176" center to center. This was the second third and fourth shot out of the rifle.

Forgot one picture:)

Wow.....whats the sticker price on that bad boy?
-
Sold that one for $1499.99 We can build another one!

One of these days....one of these days....

Potential dumb question alert....
Shoots great this group was with factory hornady 280 rem
Does a .280AI shoot .280Rem ammo?
-
Now that I go back and look again and again at that rifle that seems like a very reasalbe price for such a shooter. I'm no long range marksmen nor am I all knowing on rifles but that seems like a good price.
-
yes you fire 280 rem and it fire forms the standard 280 rem into 280 AI. And yes that is a very reasonable price!
-
Do you have other custom built rifles on the shelf?
-
As of now i do not. There is a .223 bolt gun in the works 16" barrel threaded with detachable mag, should be around That price point.
-
Have you used those dies yet Mitch? Curious what speeds you're getting with that 26" tube!

Well done! That's an excellent group and a very good price for any rifle that shoots that well!

Will have Mitch get some pics of the groups today. Hand loaded the fire formed cases with several different loads..all shot under 1/2", most stayed around 1/4"!
-
I will try to remember to get up pics today when I head back up to the range
-
How much does it weigh?

How much does it weigh?
I would take a guess as it sits in the above pic, with the bipod and without optics. Close to 10lbs?
-
Optics bipod and stock pack 12.5 lbs

Goes in looking one way, comes out looking another!!

Are these guns being built to order, or are you building guns which you think will sell quickly? I would love to walk into a shop and see something like that sitting at the counter.

Good job Mitch! Awesome what a well built gun can do. That's what a group should look like!
