Title: Lake McMurray fish with blisters?
Post by: ghosthunter on June 22, 2013, 08:15:37 PM
My buddy said he fished McMurray and several fish had blisters or lesions on them.
Anyone know what's up?

 :dunno:

Did he cut into them? I know some of the lakes around there have had problems with some sort of a skin worm that caused lesion like sores outside the skin

No he said he could clearly see it on the outside, when they were caught.
He turned them loose.
He was able to get a limit of fish without the problem.

I am about the poorest fisherman on the planet. Anyone who knows me knows I have little interest in fishing. But my wife likes to go and my Grandson too.

But neither would enjoy unhealthy looking fish.
