Title: Walleye fishing at Two Rivers Lake Roosevelt fishing trip coming up Jul 28
Post by: AnglerDan on June 23, 2013, 01:51:11 PM: Going to the Lake Roosevelt area for the first time next month and setting camp at two rivers. Planning on trolling the lake for walleye, kokanee, triploids, etc... Main target is walleye... With no experience in this area ive asked some local fishermen, they advise to use bottom bouncers with Macks lures... The new smiley blades.... Anyhow im looking at purchasing some walleye gear and would like to know what yall think about walleye fishing at roosevelt in the summer time.... big smile blades? what works well, colors, sizes, etc? Any advice is much appreciated, thanks... Ill be sure to capture video and pics of all and ill be sure to post, so excited haha

Post by: bowhunterforever on June 23, 2013, 02:21:46 PM: Don't just keep the bottom walking and spinners to your walleye arsonal. My favorite way to catch them is casting jigs along shore lines and dragging jigs on flats.

Post by: BULLBLASTER on June 23, 2013, 03:45:09 PM: there is a big rock island downstream of 2 rivers almost directly across from 7 bays that we did real well jigging for walleyes when i was a kid. i havent fished out there for ages tho. we did real well at the mouth of hawk creek also.
