Title: backyard bear
Post by: bullseye on June 25, 2013, 10:07:28 PM: A couple weeks ago a 150 pound range black bear started milling around our place. Soon after, and for the next few days/nights, a big boar was hanging with it (assuming a young sow). Come to find out that bear mate in May/June and have a delayed gestation period. I did not know that. The boar in this picture is "big". For two weeks we had two known boar and three sow (assuming) creating quite a show. They have since moved on. My wife and children are glad. Fifty feet from the house was close enough!
