Title: Salmon charters in the Puget Sound?
Post by: Rob on June 26, 2013, 07:15:56 PM
I have a co-worker who is looking to take some relatives on a salmon charter this summer (August time frame).  I don't think they have the time to hit the OP and do Sekiu which is what I would recomend they do.

Does anyone know of a reputable charter that runs out of the Everett to Tacoma area?

Tom Lines of tight lines sportfishing charters and guide service out of Does Moines would be the only charter I would use for the Puget sound.  He's extremely knowledgeable and an extremely accomplished fishing guide.  We fish next to him on the Columbia for springers and have talked with him several times.

+1 for Gary Krein and/or Nick Kester with Allstar Charters. Those guys are fishing machines!

Spot tail guide with  Capt Keith.  He mooches for them instead of trolling like everybody else does.  Actual hands-on fishing.  Super fun.

+1 for Tom Lines. I think he is fishing out of Shilshole (sp?) now.

I was going to ask how they want to fish?

Boat ride aka trolling or fish=mooching?
