Title: how to cure prawns?
Post by: Fishaholic on June 27, 2013, 12:21:11 AM
I want to cure up some. Can I just use pro cure and some water and soak them for a few days then put them in a mason jar and put rock salt in the jar? Or is it more then that?

Get some "Nate's Baits" prawn cure. Easy to use and works well. Catches fish too!

Okay so I figured out how im going to do them. Im going to make up a few pounds and then freeze them. How long will the frozen prawns last? I was reading and some people put salt sugar and borax and some fire cure and then freeze them I guess the salt and sugar prevents them from freezer burning. Any ideas?
