This spring I put in for two controlled hunts here in Idaho. One, the most important one, was an antlerless elk hunt from November 21 to December 31.
This is a rifle hunt, but matters not to me, The Knight Ultra-Lite and the 300 grain Bloodlines will be my partner on this hunt... :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL:
The second hunt I applied for was an extra late season Whitetail tag.. which real has three seasons...
1. Aug 30 to Sept 30 -> Archery only... rules me out...
2. Oct 10 to Dec 1 -> Rifle hunt again the Ultra-Lite and probably a 40x200 Bloodline
3. Dec 2 to Dec 14 -> Muzzleloader only - using Idaho's olden rules....
+ and a big + I have a regular whitetail, rifle season, tag for Oct 1 to Dec 1
You have to give up your regular season elk tag to get the late season cow tag... which is alright with me, the bow hunters have a very effective lobby and control the most of the 'Rut' :bash:

Congratulations! Those are some great draws, You are going to have some great hunts. Can't wait to see how the bloodlines perform for you. I have decided to go with the 300 grain bloodlines on our bull hunt.
